Ronnie Mitchell return confirmed!

It is with great pleasure that we can today confirm that the brilliant Samantha Womack will reprise the role of Ronnie Mitchell on a 6-month basis!

Ronnie will be seen heading back to Albert Square after completing two years in prison for abducting Tommy Moon. Upon her release, she seems ready to put the past behind her and face the future with her family at her side.

However, she will experience a rough ride when she returns to Walford, especially from ex-husband Jack Branning, played by Scott Maslen.

Womack  said today: “I am thrilled to be returning to the role of Ronnie for the next six months. Ronnie is coming out of prison and her re-appearance in the Square is going to create havoc. I can’t wait to be a Mitchell once again!”

Eastenders executive producer Lorraine Newman added: “We’re delighted to announce Samantha Womack’s return to Albert Square. The Mitchell sisters are a fabulous pairing and it will be an absolute delight to have Ronnie and Roxy back together on screen. However, Ronnie’s departure wasn’t without controversy for many residents in Walford and her return will be sure to ruffle quite a few feathers…”

Show bosses have promised a big summer and autumn of drama with “many new faces arriving in Walford creating many new and exciting dynamics in the Square”.

We can’t wait!!

Baby! What baby?!

So Kirsty is pregnant!!! Nope, she’s actually lying just to keep Max!.
Kierston Wareing who plays Kirsty says “Kirsty’s desperation to keep Max Branning is “embarrassing”.”

Next week we will witness the lie take a turn for the worse as Kirsty announces her ‘baby’ news in the Queen Vic of all places!!

Wareing continued to say “Kirsty has told this huge lie to keep him, and even I don’t know when the truth is going to come out. I’m excited to see what’s going to happen”.

So are we!!

Sharon’s new love

It was only last week when we watched Jack and Sharon’s wedding disintegrate into pieces.
However it doesn’t take her long to rekindle her old romance with The one and only Phil!
The pair share another kiss in May, with Phil telling Sharon he loves her the pair decide enough a enough and they decide to get together again, but just for how long?

Max’s secret is exposed!

Lauren has discovered that Kirsty is pregnant, and she is not best pleased.
Lauren keeps Max’s secret for a while but a secret never stays secret for long in Walford.
She tells her dad on the 16th of this month that he has to tell Tanya, otherwise she will.
He buckles under Laurens pressure and says he will, however, Lauren then meets up with
Lucy, Whitney and Joey for lunch in the Vic and drinks a little too much.
Tanya isn’t happy when Lauren returns home drunk, Lauren starts blaming the Branning
family secrets on her drinking, and then she tells Tanya Max’s secret.
With Laurens drinking having returned and Max’s child number 5 on the way what will Tanya do?

Syed’s lover returns

First he took Syed’s money, and then he almost ruined Christian and Syed’s marriage.
So what is bad boy Danny doing back on the Square?
Gary Lucy who plays Danny  said ‘I’m extremely excited to be joining such a fantastic show – one which my family are huge fans of and I grew up watching.
He went on: ‘I enjoyed the little taster last September and am looking forward to exploring my character further, seeing what’s in store for him and which characters it will involve.’
Eastender Executive Producer Lorraine Newman added: ‘We are absolutely delighted to reveal that Gary Lucy will be returning to EastEnders.’
Newman gave a little information as to what Danny will be getting up to when he returns in June; ‘Danny’s stories will see him crossing paths with some of our best loved characters, and I am sure the audience will relish in the fact that the complex nature of this character means that nothing is ever simple.’

Well we cannot wait for this bad boy to return to the square in June!

Liam’s troubles return

After the gang problems, Liam is faced with further worry when he and Bianca learn that Tiffany is approached by the gang at the school gates!
Racked with worry and guilt Liam is reassured by Bianca that they will get through it together, but Liam learns on the 26 th of this month that he has a life changing decision to make, but will it be the right one?

Where’s Dennis?

Dennis hasn’t had the easiest of upbringings, his dad as we know was killed outside the Queen Vic, and then lied to by his mum for most of his life.
And now with the breakdown of Sharon’s most recent relationship with Jack Branning, it seems it’s all a little too much for Dennis as he runs away from the square.
On the 16th Sharon sends Jack packing but soon realises her son has gone missing, will Jack help her search for Dennis?
Could this bring Sharon and Jack closer?

Tanya’s shock discovery

We watched earlier in March Tanya make the fatal mistake of letting Phil Mitchell sleep in her bed!!
But it’s ok, because nothing happened…Or so we were led to believe!!
It seems naughty Phil lied to Tanya and they DID in fact SLEEP with each other!
Tanya learns she is pregnant with the Father of 2 and grandfather of one’s baby, sending the Branning family into turmoil.
Poor Tanya, things just don’t seem to be going well for her at the moment.

She’s back…

She left Walford in a hurry after having an unexpected premature birth and marrying the lying thieving Mr Michael Moon. However her return was inevitable. Janine (Charlie Brooks) is back to settle unresolved business with her husband Michael Moon (Steve John Shepherd).
Janine returns to our screens on the 18th of April, in East End fashion too!
Rowing with Michael and then turning on Kat, Janine is really making sure everyone knows she’s back.
Good luck Walford, you’re going to need it.
