Sharon’s new love

It was only last week when we watched Jack and Sharon’s wedding disintegrate into pieces.
However it doesn’t take her long to rekindle her old romance with The one and only Phil!
The pair share another kiss in May, with Phil telling Sharon he loves her the pair decide enough a enough and they decide to get together again, but just for how long?

Sneak Peek: Tuesday 16th April

Lauren and her mates, Lucy, Whitney, Tyler and Joey all have lunch in The Vic, but their time is ruined when Lauren once again has too much to drink, which forces Joey into leaving  the pub angrily telling Lauren that he can no longer watch her do this to herself.

Later on, Kirsty quickly is convinced that she should have an abortion after Lauren drunkenly warns her that just because she is having a baby with Max, it won’t stop him leaving her, just like it didn’t stop him from walking out on his family. Lauren then goes back to her house where she has an argument with Tanya before revealing Kirsty’s secret pregnancy-leaving Tanya upset.

Elsewhere on the square, it is bye-bye for Jack Branning as he decides to leave. It all starts when he tries to visit Dennis, however he is turned away by a hostile Sharon who spews that he has given up his right to care about Dennis. Fortunately, Jack later finds the little boy hiding at the gym. When he takes Dennis back home he leaves a note for Sharon and goes home to pack his bags. He then goes into The Vic and says a tearful goodbye to Roxy and Amy before leaving.

Meanwhile, Sharon notices the letter Jack left for her, telling her that he is leaving. She quickly runs to find him but as she gets to his house, Jack drives off unaware that she is there.

Cornell S John Joins Cast

There’s a whole lot of drama coming Ava and Dexter’s way as actor, Cornell S John has been cast as Dexter’s estranged father who tries to make his way back into their lives.

John’s most notable credits include movies ‘Kidulthood’ and its sequel ‘Adulthood’.

John will join the show next month and play Sam, Ava’s ex-boyfriend who left her when Dexter was a baby after he told her was going to buy some milk from the shop-however, he never returned.

The actor said: “It’s a great honour and pleasure to be joining the Eastenders family. I look forward to working with the cast and to Sam’s adventures on the square… doof doof.”

Executive producer, Lorraine Newman added: “We are delighted to have Cornell join the cast of Eastenders playing Sam. Cornell’s powerful presence and natural gravitas will ensure he’s a strong presence on screen.The addition of Sam gives us a solid family unit with Dexter and Ava. However, after such a long absence, sparks are sure to initially fly. Let’s just hope he’s got the milk!”

Episode Spoiler-Monday 15th April

With all the drama from last week still on people’s minds, Ian and Tanya decide to find Sharon, however, Phil lies and tells them she has gone to Norfolk. However, Phil is outsmarted by Kim who sees him buying some shampoo at the Minute Mart and correctly guesses Sharon is staying with him. When Denise, Ian and Tanya find out, they pay Sharon a visit and convince her that she should go back to work.

Charlie Brooks Talks Janine and Michael Future

Those hoping for a Janine and Michael reunion are going to be disappointed as it looks like all the love between them has died.

Speaking to Radio Times, actress Charlie Brooks revealed, “I don’t think she’d ever go back to him. As we know, Janine has massive trust issues with men. So I think she has a lot of deep-rooted anger at Michael after the way he treated her. She was driven away, she couldn’t cope and she didn’t have his support.”

Speaking of Steve John Shepherd’s exit from the soap later this year, Brooks said, “I would like Janine to destroy Michael! That’s what I want!”

Brooks also revealed when Janine is back she tries to get her businesses up and running again and also strikes up an interesting friendship with Alice. Brooks also promised Janine will be back to the bitchy character we all know and love saying, “I’ll go back to being hated by a nation.”

Max’s secret is exposed!

Lauren has discovered that Kirsty is pregnant, and she is not best pleased.
Lauren keeps Max’s secret for a while but a secret never stays secret for long in Walford.
She tells her dad on the 16th of this month that he has to tell Tanya, otherwise she will.
He buckles under Laurens pressure and says he will, however, Lauren then meets up with
Lucy, Whitney and Joey for lunch in the Vic and drinks a little too much.
Tanya isn’t happy when Lauren returns home drunk, Lauren starts blaming the Branning
family secrets on her drinking, and then she tells Tanya Max’s secret.
With Laurens drinking having returned and Max’s child number 5 on the way what will Tanya do?

Tanya Franks Unsure About ‘Rainie’s’ Future

It doesn’t look like Rainie Cross will be making her way back onto our screens any time soon.

Speaking to Flavour Magazine, actress Tanya Franks said, “They did ask me to come back last year, but I wasn’t available. I don’t know if I am going back anytime soon or in the near future.”

Speaking of her role as Rainie, Franks admitted, “It’s always fun to play the bad girl. On saying that, with Rainie, it’s not so much that I ever saw that role as it being fun as much as it being a real exploration of somebody going through the kind of turmoil which she went through, particularly on the drug addiction side. I wanted to take that responsibility on board to try and be as truthful as I could without it being sensationalized.”

Syed’s lover returns

First he took Syed’s money, and then he almost ruined Christian and Syed’s marriage.
So what is bad boy Danny doing back on the Square?
Gary Lucy who plays Danny  said ‘I’m extremely excited to be joining such a fantastic show – one which my family are huge fans of and I grew up watching.
He went on: ‘I enjoyed the little taster last September and am looking forward to exploring my character further, seeing what’s in store for him and which characters it will involve.’
Eastender Executive Producer Lorraine Newman added: ‘We are absolutely delighted to reveal that Gary Lucy will be returning to EastEnders.’
Newman gave a little information as to what Danny will be getting up to when he returns in June; ‘Danny’s stories will see him crossing paths with some of our best loved characters, and I am sure the audience will relish in the fact that the complex nature of this character means that nothing is ever simple.’

Well we cannot wait for this bad boy to return to the square in June!

Jack jilts Sharon?!

It’s not the conventional ‘Wedding Jilt’, however this isn’t a straight forward relationship.
Jack and Sharon both have colourful pasts, has Jacks reared its ugly head?
Jack’s Ex Ronnie Mitchell has been in contact and is keen to try and restart things with him, after Jack and Phil are locked in the R&R together things become clearer to Jack just who it is that he truly wants to be with.
So Jack and Sharon? To be or not to be?
