Heather to leave Eastenders

Fans will be shocked to hear that Eastenders producers have axed Heather Trott, played by Cheryl Fergison, 47. After 4 years on the show, we hear that she will leave in a dramatic plot, in the early part of 2012.

We think that this is a really bad decision as Heather is one of the few characters in the show that can really make fans laugh. Bosses are apparently not renewing her contract because they fear that the viewers will start to tire of her soon.

Heather, who joined the show in the 2007, will leave the show with a bang but the story line is being kept under wraps, so we have no idea if she’ll be killed off or not.

Cheryl originally was only given a temporary contract when she joined the show. She was then upgraded to a full time cast member after becoming to popular with fans. Heather became well know for her love of George Michael, even naming her own son after him. She’ll also be remembered for her headbands her close friendship to Shirley.

We wish Cheryl all the best for the future and really hope that the producers don’t kill her off so that she can come back soon!

David Essex is leaving Eastenders

It seems like Eddie Moon has only been on our screens five minutes, but already David Essex has announced that he wont be staying on at the BBC. His contract is due to expire in October and he isn’t interested in renewing it as he wants to focus on his music career.

Eddie will be involved in a big story-line when he leaves and we hear that it might be at the same time that Vanessa (the fashionable Zoe Lucker) leaves the show.

David who is remembered for his white suits and cans of hair spray, is currently recording a new album which he will release before Christmas. He’ll also be starring in the musical ‘All the Fun of the Fair’, which includes some of his biggest hits.

The Eastenders producers have left the door open for Eddie to return though, so don’t worry, they won’t be killing him off!

Vanessa is leaving Eastenders

Vanessa Gold, played by Zoe Lucker is due to leave Eastenders soon. The ex footballers wife has already shot her final scenes which see her looking distraught (and a little wet) in the street.

She has planned a deal with Eddie Moon and waits for him to pick her up on the street corner. However Eddie doesn’t plan to play ball… as she jumps in the car with a big bag of cash, Eddie then throws the money back at her and unpacks her luggage from the boot. She see’s him screech off and then another car drives past and splashes a giant puddle all over her! She really doesn’t look pleased as her matching designer skirt, top and handbag get drenched.

Zoe initially only signed with Eastenders for 7 episodes but her character proved to be so popular with fans that the production team asked her to stay on. This lead to Zoe picking up an array of acting awards and some great reviews by the critics.

Apparently the fashionable Zoe is really upset about leaving but has taken the opportunity to really show off how viscous and scheming Vanessa can be in her last weeks of filming.

UPDATE: Eddie Moon, played by David Essex will also be leaving the show during these scenes! This will be sure to upset all his female fans.

Darren Miller leaving Eastenders

Darren Miller, played by Charlie Hawkins is leaving Eastenders after a 7 year stint on the soap. Darren joined the cast of Albert Square in 2004 at the age of 13 along side his screen family, Mickey (Joe Swash) and Demi (Shana Swash).

Darren’s exit will happen after he calls off his wedding to Jodie Gold, played by Kylie Babbington. Apparently it all happens last minute at the ceremony when he says that he can’t go through with the marriage under false pretenses. A guilty Darren confesses to sleeping with Lauren Branning on his stag do whilst intoxicated.

So this leaves him with no choice but to leave Albert Square. With no wife and no money, he decides that the best thing to do is to leave Walford.

Charlie is reportedly looking forward to not having to spend his days learning his lines and plans to take life easy, but the door has definitely been left wide open for his character to make a return in the future

Pat is leaving Eastenders

The BBC has announced that Pat, played by Pam St Clement, aged 69 will be leaving Eastenders later on this year. Pam, the second longest serving resident currently in the square, will leave her role as Pat Evans after an titanic 25 years. Details of how Pat will leave the show have not yet been revealed.

Pat joined the show as an ex vice girl, and her relationship with Frank Butcher produced some of her finest moments. Another friendship we’ll always remember was Pat’s long running war with Peggy Mitchell, normally fighting over men, including Frank and her late husband Roy Evens. However, Pat and Peggy always had a special bond and eventually became the best of friends.

Apparently Pat is really sad to be leaving the show as it will be like leaving her family behind but she’s looking forward to new prospects that are sure to follow after the show. We wish you all the best Pat, your a legend!

Samantha Womack to leave Eastenders

Apparently Samantha Womack thinks viewers will be surprised by the outcome of her last scenes in Eastenders. We can confirm that Ronnie, played by Samantha Womack will definitely be leaving the hit show, after she wraps up her shocking baby snatch storyline over the next week in court. It sounds like there is going to be a knife-edge plot which will leave views gasping to find out if she goes to prison or not.

Apparently the former ‘game on’ star has banner her kids from watching her final Episodes of Eastenders. The Dannielle storyline was bound to have played a part in this decision so we can’t blame her for not wanting them to watch. Apparently she found the baby snatch story line very draining, which is understandable as the character has been in a state of depression and emotional turmoil for the last year or so!

About 10,000 people complained about the baby snatch storyline, so bosses at Eastenders had to axe the plot early to keep the faithful following happy.
