Eastenders cast and crew abused

The Mirror has reported that a boy of 14 has been warned by police after waging a hate campaign against EastEnders’ cast and crew members. The Police were called in after abusive emails were sent directly to staff at an “alarming rate”, along with vile messages which began to flood internet forums by the dozen.

The Police issued a formal warning to the teenager after more than a dozen stars were believed to have been targeted in a lengthy campaign of abuse.

One man said: “It was the talk of the set for several months and a lot of people were frightened. This person was emailing specific details about EastEnders’ staff and there was also sickening abuse appearing online on lots of different forums. It got very serious and the show’s bosses in particular were getting a lot of grief over decisions being made. It was like this poster was on the set with some of the detail he knew. At first it looked like a group of angry, vicious viewers but as it got more sinister we looked into it and found it was just one sick young lad”

A letter was written to worried staff, by Eastenders company manager Carolyn Weinstein, who confirmed that the culplrit had been cautioned by police.

A Hertfordshire Police spokesman confirmed that a 14-year-old youth had last week been given a formal warning about the incident.

Craig Fairbrass mother found in a shed

Ex Eastenders star Craig Fairbrass’s mother was yesterday found hiding out in a shed. Maureen, who suffers from dementia, was cold and dehydrated but was in a reasonable condition, after she went missing whilst out shopping on Tuesday. The 72 year old’s condition has been getting worse as she has no clue who she is, where she is or even what her name is.

Maureen was taken into Bromley hospital, South London for tests, and Craig has to put his film shooting on hold, as he flew back from Singapore to see her. Craig was shooting a film called Hijacked with co-star Vinnie Jones.

Eastenders stars confirm their relationships with each other

We reported last week that Matt Lapinskas (Anthony Moon) and Shona McGarty (Whitney Dean) were spotted looking very cosy together as John Partidge’s (Christian) wedding. We also noted that Tony Discipline (Tyler Moons) and Jacqueline Jossa (Lauren Branning) were also an item…. well we can confirm that both couples are officially an item!

Matt Lapinskas told Radio 1′s Teen Awards on Sunday when he was asked if he is dating McGarty (Whitney Dean), Lapinskas said: ‘Yes.’

Tony Discipline discussed his romance with Jossa (Lauren Branning), adding: ‘It’s early stages but it is true. It’s completely different to what we’re used to. People writing about your private life is strange and something we’re getting used to.’

Zoe Lucker is pleased with Vanessa’s ‘twist’ exit

Zoe Lucker has apparently said that she’s really pleased with the way that Vanessa Gold leaves the show. Vanessa’s last episode showed her getting packed and waiting for Eddie Moon to take her away to Spain.

However, in a final twist, she gets dumped by Eddie at the last minute as he labels her a mercenary bitch. She then decides that she can’t got back to Walford because she fears the police will be looking for her after stealing thousands of pounds from the boxing gym.

Eddie also left the show in the same episode, as he went off on an ‘adventure’ with his son Craig Moon.

Shona McGarty is dating Matt Lapinskas

We’ve heard that Matt Lapinskas, who plays Anthony Moon and Shona McGarty, who plays Whitney Dean are now dating each other. Apparently their new found romance was uncovered at John Partridge’s (Christian) wedding last Friday night. The Mail Online reported that Matt and Shona were seen walking hand in hand outside the lavish ceremony in Greenwich.

The news follows Shona’s hints that she was seeing somebody new. She apparently said ‘There is a certain someone in my life. It’s all very new and fresh, it hasn’t even been a month. He took me to a nice Italian.’

Apparently Cupid is busy in Albert Square because the Mail is also reporting that Tony Discipline, who plays Tyler Moon and Jacqueline Jossa, who plays Lauren Branning, are also a couple.

John Partridge marries his long term boyfriend

John Partridge, better know as Christian Clarke in Eastenders, has finally tied the knot with his partner Jon Tsouras at the Trafalgar pub in Greenwich, South East London. The couple had a small ceremony in front of close family and friends, which included several members of the Eastenders cast, and Dancing on Ice judge Jason Gardiner.

John, aged 40, has been with his partner for 8 years, and the actor said that it’s about time he made an honest man of Canadian born Jon.

Christian is currently of of the soaps biggest stars, along with his on screen Muslim boyfriend Syed Masood. The pair have a huge following across several online forums and have sparked controversy right from when they set eyes on each other.

Alex Ferns still haunted by evil Trevor

Ex Eastenders actor Alex Ferns has apparently said that he can’t get away from his ex character Trevor Morgan, the crazy wife beater that tormented little Mo back in 2002.

Alex, 42, who is now currently starring in South Pacific in the west end, said that everyone still remembers him as little Mo’s warped hubby, even though he quit Eastenders 9 years ago!

Alex said that he’s very relaxed in real life, so playing mental characters is far removed from his personality. He also admitted that he hasn’t watched Eastenders since he quit the show. He did however commend Samantha Womack who stars alongside him in the musical, for being a great actress who’s full of energy.

Mandy Salters real life dad is sent to jail

Vincent Stapleton is the father of Nicola who plays Mandy Salter in Eastenders. Vincent has been jailed after repeatedly ignoring court orders to give back huge sums of money that he owes the government. He was also previously jailed in 2001 for 5 years for tax fraud involving up to £9 million and has also been prosecuted for involvement in robberies.

Vince was first asked to pay back £1.7 millions but he just ignored this and decided to buy two houses with fraudulent mortgages instead. He managed to get a judge to reduce his debt to 220K based on the fact that he was too skint to pay the money back.

A hearing in Westminster magistrates court recently jailed Vince again; this time for 342 days, after the prosecution told how he defied orders to pay back the monies owed.

‘The Only Way Is Essex’ Mark Wright wants to be in Eastenders

Apparently ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star Mark Wright is in discussions with BBC producers to appear in Eastenders. The 24 year old Essex boy told a national newspaper that he is keen to be an actor and would relish the chance to be a ‘hard man’ in Albert Square.

Mark apparently told the paper that he’s really pursuing an acting career and has spoken to Eastenders bosses. He doesn’t really mind what role he gets but a hard man would be his top choice. He also fancies himself as a presenter and would like a go at Paddy McGuinness’s show ‘Take Me Out’. Mark added that he’s really upset about splitting with Lauren Goodger but really hopes that they can stay good friends.

Jessie Wallace hides from her ex

According to a national newspaper, Jessie Wallace has been hiding in her dressing room in order to avoid her ex, Vince Morse. She recently returned to work at the BBC after dumping Vince because he sent photo’s of Jessie dressed in a basque and lingerie to his ex. Vince works as a caterer on the BBC set, so Jessie has been doing everything she can to keep him out of her way.

Apparently the actress has been spending her ‘off-screen’ time in her dressing room. She locks her room and the only person allowed in is Shane Richie. Apparently Jessie has organised a discussion with Vince later this week to see if they can salvage anything from their relationship.

An insider apparently said Jessie has handled all of her recent ‘angry’ on-screen scenes with Shane really well. There is obviously a risk when an actress is having personal problems but she has remained completely professional throughout.
